UPS recently did a major rebranding. The changed from the simple string wrapped
package and ups shield, done by Paul Rand, to a glossy, dimensional shield,
done by FutureBrand of New York. Another example is the
Interbank/MasterCharge/MasterCard
brand, between 1966 to 2006 there have been 5 different logos. Mostly minor
differences but, broad company-wide changes none the less.
